About

I am a mom to three amazing children and work full-time. As with most families these days, daycare, the mortgage, and monthly expenses eat up the bulk of our take home pay. Out of necessity and sometimes in the name of fun (yes, I'm weird), I've found it important to be frugal. Although sometimes being frugal means being cheap, oftentimes being frugal means being smart. We may need to spend money to make money (or save it) or sometimes it makes sense to be super cheap.

Have you ever heard that there is a millionaire living next door and you don't even know it? Millionaires don't always flaunt their wealth and aren't always the ones driving the fancy cars, living in high-end houses, and eating at extravagant restaurants. They are contributing to their 401(k) and paying their mortgage every month.

Although I'm not a millionaire yet, I plan on getting there by being cheap and smart. Even though we are cheap in many aspects of our life, we also don't need everyone to know how cheap we are. So I have started this blog -- sneakcheap -- to share some of my family's tricks and tips on how to live a rich and fulfilling life on a budget without everyone knowing just how cheap you are!
