3 Ingredient Glitter Slime

If your kids are anything like mine, they are obsessed with slime. Slime of all colors. But the winner, by far, is the glitter slime. Something about those magical sparkles of glitter and my kiddos go crazy. Here is an easy, three ingredient recipe to quickly and magically concoct glitter slime on your kitchen table.

Ingredients:

Glitter (any color)

5 oz of Elmer's clear glue

1/2 cup of Elmer's magical liquid

Instructions:

Pour bottle of Elmer's clear glue into a plastic cup. Slowly mix in Elmer's magical liquid. Add glitter (about 1-2 tablespoons) depending on the desired amount of glitter. Stir until combined. Move mixture to table and knead by hand until well combined. If sticky, coat hands with cooking spray. Play and have fun. Store in airtight container.

In my first installment of Stop the Grocery Store Monster - Effective Ways to Cut Food Costs , I discussed some of my tips for keeping food costs under control when grocery shopping. In this installment, I discuss ways to effectively use the food you already buy and keeping food costs in check by purchasing the correct items. Shredded Cheese I rarely buy shredded cheese because the price per pound is too high. I also learned that they add starch to shredded cheese as a preservative. With some family members subscribing to a Keto-friendly diet, we prefer to make our own shredded cheese. But, frankly, who has the time and arm strength to shred a block of cheese? Therefore, I cut blocks of cheese into smaller cubes and shred them in the food processor.
